Subject : results about the use of the DIPHOTERINE® solution for rinsing after two years

Dear Mr Blomet,

Thanks to this letter, I am pleased to confirm you that after having used as a rinsing solution in case of chemical burns during two years, the result is very positive.

CNET, as a research centre, has a wide range of chemical products. So in the liquid products sector such as acids, bases and solvents, we are using over one hundred different chemical products in our laboratories. Because of the different origins and activities of the employees on this site (250 researchers, 50 trainees and phD student, 100 people from external companies working on site), the incidents due to the manipulation of chemical products remain frequent.

Then, since 1991, the whole site has been equipped , step by step, with rinsing systems with the DIPHOTERINE® solution . Today, we can assess that even if the number of chemical accidents has not decreased, the seriousness of the injuries is clearly decreasing. Indeed, the systematic use of the DIPHOTERINE® solution in case of splashes in the eye or on the skin or in case of a simple suspicion of contact with a corrosive product, permits to reduce significantly the seriousness of the injuries and the necessary healing time for serious accidents.

In addition to the efficiency of the product linked to its composition, its availability as sterile solution, at room temperature and applied with a micronised spray or a rinsing without pressure, make it more comfortable and as a consequence more appreciated by the users than the standard water springs and showers.

Very best regards,
