A tester was splashed with a mixture of Nitric acid and Perchloric acid on the face. Instinctively, she started to wash with tap water. Her colleagues rapidly brought DIPHOTERINE® solution sprays (1.5 minutes after contamination) and decontaminated her face with the entire aerosol. Before decontamination, signs of eczema had already appeared. A rapid and clear improvement was noticed as the discomfort feeling and eczema signs disappeared. 20 minutes after decontamination, the burning sensation started up again. Another DIPHOTERINE® solution’s aerosol was used to decontaminate and only a mild irritation remained. A cream (Andatol®) was then applied on the nose. The next day, no sign of any injury remained.
