Hexafluorine® decontamination of HF eye and skin splashes : a review.
Author(s)
The weight of data presented suggests that a first aid decontamination of eye or skin splashes due to hydrofluoric acid with Hexafluorine® is more efficient than water to stop or decrease the severity of hydrofluoric acid burns. Calcium gluconate should be used for a systematic treatment of the HF burns when they develop.
