A review of the taking up of hydrofluoric acid burns : two cases reported.

Two cases of splashes with concentrated hydrofluoric acid rinsed successfully with Hexafluorine® are related first in this communication. The main advantages of Hexafluorine® and its advantages compared to the treatment with water associated with calcium gluconate are presented afterwards, which permits to conclude to the convincing efficiency of Hexafluorine® as emergency protocol.
