Treatment of a 40% hydrofluoric acid burn on the skin and in the eyes.

During a decanting operation of 40% hydrofluoric acid, a join detached itself and the operator was splashed with the acid. Immediately undressed and rinsed with Hexafluorine®, he was conducted to the safety place where a second rinsing with Hexafluorine® was proceeded. After, he was conducted to the hospital, where the specialists could not notice any lesions. The operator came back to work the day after.
