17. When should Diphoterine® be used?
Diphoterine® should be used as soon as possible after nearly all skin/eye chemical splashes, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid (HF) splashes when Hexafluorine® should be used instead.

Because it is active against a very wide variety of chemical substances, Diphoterine® is particularly well-suited for use with unknown chemical exposures.
